I often get asked, where do you pull your motivation from. I struggle with this answer because I've always felt a deep intrinsic motivation that I'm not entirely sure where it stems from. One thing I do know is I'm a quote girl. If you haven't noticed yet I'm a big Rocky Balboa fan. I have seen all the Rocky movies, and often quote all the lines in the Rocky films, much to the annoyance of my family and friends. I believe there is so much power in words and if you can find meaning in what others have said, maybe that gets you out the door to train. Maybe it pulls you through a rough patch of injury. Maybe it holds you accountable. Below are a few of my favorite quotes that I paired with a picture to try and capture the story.

It ain’t about how hard ya hit. It’s about how hard you can get hit and keep moving forward. How much you can take and keep moving forward. That’s how winning is done.

The dream is free, the hustle is sold separately.

Get yourself in a position you din’t think you could be in, and with your adrenaline pumping, see what happens.
